I work from a warm, honest and non-judgemental space so you feel heard and understood. My style is quite dynamic, meaning that I take guidance from you about how you want your treatment and sessions to be structured. We will work together to develop greater insight into the nature of your challenges, work with your strengths, and practice skills that will help you move towards your goals and values to increase your psychological flexibility.
I work with both adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. As best suited to your unique needs, I will draw on specialist training and experience from a range of therapeutic frameworks, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Schema Focused Therapy (SFT).
***Please note I do not offer medicolegal assessment or reports. Should these matters arise in the course of therapy, I will discuss appropriate alternatives.
I have worked in a variety of settings including education, community health, adolescent mental health, and private practice, which means I am able to bring this diverse experience into daily practice across all ages. Prior to psychology, I worked in human resource management across various sized organisations, with a mental health and wellbeing focus.
